You've seen his animations and laughed your head off (hopefully
not to that extreme)! Maybe you were lucky enough to get a copy of them,
but how many more of Eric Schwartz's animations are you missing? Now
you can order any animation or his entire collection for a special low
price directly from the source. Part of your payment goes directly to
Eric to help him through school and to buy newer software.
The AFIT AUG (Air Force Institute of Technology Amiga User
Group #333), recognized by Commodore, is the home of Eric's animations, and
we want you to be able to see every one of his creative masterpieces. Most
of his animations run on any Amiga and require AmigaDOS 1.2 and 1meg RAM --
that's all! To receive one or more animation disks, you have a few choices:
come to the AFIT AUG meeting (on the second Saturday of every month) and copy
everything for free with $5 paid membership (and talk to Eric himself),
download any animation from AFIT AUG's BBS after paying a one-time $10 fee, or
mail us an order with payment enclosed. When ordering by mail with the
Orderform (with certified check or money order), you will receive the
requested disks in the mail ASAP. These quality DS/DD 3.5" disks are
formatted to the old-file-system, optimized with B.A.D. and guaranteed to be
free of error. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Approximately one new anim is created every two to three months. If
you would like to pay in advance for future disks, mark the appropriate lines
on the Orderform. Here's how the subscription works: you first write down
any disks you want after it says "I would like these disks at $3.00 per disk:"
in the Orderform file, e.g. AT002, ES004. Then, if you want the next 2 disks
that Eric creates, you will also write "2 subscription disks". If you
wanted the next 5 disks instead of just the next 2, you would also write
"3 subscription disks" in the space titled "I would like these additional
disks at $2.00:". Next, you will fill in numbers next to the AT, ES, AN, and
PX so I know where your collection leaves off. The new disks will be sent to
you as they become available. Got it?
If you would like the entire collection, send only $1.75 per disk
plus any normal shipping charge that applies. There are currently 41 disks.
That results in $71.75 or $92.25 overseas. If you order the entire
collection, subscription disks are also only $1.75 at the time of ordering.
The animation disks are also available in bulk for retail sale.
If you would like more information about becoming an official distributor,
please mail the order form to us or drop Jon Smith a message on the AFIT
AUG BBS. Thank you.

(HD) = embedded version for hard drive users
Use the disk number(s) when ordering.
Also, as of July 20, 1991, the Anti-Lemmin' Demo is fixed to work
on PAL and NTSC machines, and an embedded version is on disk ES008. The
embedded version is the entire anim in a single file that can only fit on
a hard drive (or high density floppy), and will not run from a standard 880K
floppy. However, no ASSIGNs are required, saving hard drive users time. If
you order only disk ES008, be aware that it will only run from a hard drive
because of its size and also requires the freely distributable program
MoviePlayer.
The Tor Anim will run on any machine, but my not be timed correctly
(too fast or too slow). Versions timed for all machines are coming.
The At The Movies anim on ES003 requires only 1 meg. of RAM. A
version will soon be available that requires 2 meg.
The embedded version of The Dating Game is on disk ES011.
At the Movies 2 requires all four disks which consist of 5 versions
of the same anim: one-megabyte RAM, two-meg., and three-meg. versions plus
two-meg., and three-meg. versions for accellerated machines.
Eric now has one complete disk of IFF pictures he has drawn over the
years. It is disk PX001. This is the only disk that contains no animations.
Disk AN006 contains 4 anims showing the process that Eric uses to
create an animation. It has the original "Amy Walks" anim, the anim of just
the sidewalk, the anim of the digitized pencil drawings of Amy, and the
original anim with music.
